Warm engine
It's helpful to have a warm engine to make the fuel rail covers easier to manipulate in getting the old ones off after removing the oil fill cap and tugging up from the edges . . .
Suggest you wrap duct tape around the braided fuel line to help avoid scratching the new covers...

No nuts beneath them - -just the two guide pins and double sided adhesive . . .try a hair dryer with heat feature amd some fishing line to gently saw them loose around the pints . . .then lift- - then use goo gone or similar adhesive remover to clean it up.
You'll be left with two holes though...

Thanks for your replies . . . I bought one privately from a forum member and received it late last week . . it seems to be good quality and thusfar, I've only done a trial fitting - -seems to be just fine and produces a distinctive look - - I prefer it to the C-2 grill 'teeth' style.

With all due respect, I think you're both correct. Ebay provides great exposure for those rare or unique cars that otherwise wouldn't have visibility to a national audience except at a place like the Barrett Jackson auction here last week.

I use DuPont White Enamel Polishing Compound on a damp cloth. . it's not too abrasive. Then go over the area with a good waz to remove the light scratches.
