Was out testing fuel pressure today.
Key on/engine off my fuel pressure meets the first FSM spec (55-62 psi) but just barely misses the second (at least 51 psi after 5 min)
Engine on and at idle or at light load cruse it's about 58 psi.
When I go to WOT at 2000 and run it to the rev limiter it starts at about 57.5 but gradually drops to about 46-46.5 psi at 6600-6800 rpm.
Comments?
I know GM lists a fuel filter for 2003.5-2004 but I also know you have to pull the left tank to replace it. Has anyone done that?
mods:
170° thermostat, Fluidyne Radiator, straight water coolant
Green Filters w. Granatelli Low restriction intake kit and MAF
Crane 1.8:1 rockers and dual valve springs
Corsa X-pipe
Denso IT-22 plugs and MSD wires.
Custom calibration w. 6800-rpm rev limiter
Red Line lubricants
