I've just got a set of 05 Z06 wheels from a friend. Does anyone know if I can run them on my C5. Sizes are front 275/35/18, rear 325/30/19 . Also, does anyone know if they are spun or cast aluminum? Thanks.

Aftermarket Z06 wheels were out in '05 - that's why I asked.

In any event, to answer your question... they fit fine, clear the calipers, ducts and suspension components (even on lowered cars), but the rear offset does cause them to stick out from the fender ever so slightly. You won't look like Louie Lo-rider, but it is noticeable from certain angles.

HTH!

Thank you. I drove my friends Z hard last night and it was incredible. I broke the back end loose at 30 mph. He just got it and immediately put on aftermarket wheels. He gave me the stock Z wheels. Looks like I will be selling my HRE 547's and running the Z wheels soon.

Pac-man, I'd be interested to hear how they work for you. Once you get them on take a few pics and let us know how they do. Thanks.

No problem. Currently running 04 Z06 sizes on 3pc HRE 547's. They are a huge improvement in ride and grip over the stock sizes. Only problem with running the new Z wheels will be that the rear tire (325) is only made by goodyear in a runflat and I hate runflats.

Pac-man,

I got some 2006-Z06 style aftermarket rims with Falcon rubber (non EMT) and they look great and handling is greatly improved. They are the same size as factory: 18's rear/17's front and they accept the tire sensors. I love them. I know yours are the OEM product but I think you'll be happy with the change.

Wait a minute, new Z06 sizes are 325/30/19 rear, 275/35/18 front. I think you are talking about previous Z06 sizes, which I already have.

So after a few months hows the new wheels working out Pac-man? Likes? Dislikes? Thanks.

Terrible weather, have'nt run them yet. I'll let you know, thanks.
