1956 Shift Pattern Plate

It is my understanding that some of the 56 Corvettes had a shift pattern plate that was made of zinc. I've been looking on eBay but would like to know if anyone may know of another source. I need one for a 3-speed. Thanks, -Keith

May be a tough item to find, as it was a '56 (and very early '57)-only item; even the good reproductions are etched on aluminum, as used after about '57 #400 or so. The zinc ones pitted pretty easily, and many were replaced with the later aluminum part.
