Yes invest in a set of flare wrenches if you dont allready have a set

Make sure the car is safe before you get under it.Squirt every thing now with WD40 that has to come apart.Get a couple of cans of brake cleaner to clean things up.Now would be a good time to replace the front wheel bearings and seals or the minimum repack the bearings,Use a shop vac to clean up old break dust instead of blowing it all around with compressed air.replace the rubber lines also.Get good quaility cotter pins for the front wheel bearings (there so cheap it doesnt make sence to re use old one.

When I am working with brake or fuel lines.I use a dab of leak lock less then a tear drop (more as a lubricant then a sealer) I run the line in as far as I can by hand ,make it up with a back up wrench and a quaility flare wrench then I loosen it and do it again 2 more times.Since I have been using silacone fluid in my C2 I use it in every thing.(dosnt harm paint)

I also invested in a power bleeder from motive products

I would never work with out one again. My brother in laws own a shop and they were working on a 78 pace car replacing the brake system. They are thick headed and worked for 3 days trying to bleed the brakes finally they called and asked for my help.I flushed out there airrated silacone fluid with the power bleeder and had a perfect pedal in about 35 minutes. One of the best tools I purchased saves me alot of frustration

Good Luck and be safe
