1960 doorglass

;helphello,I am restoring a 1960 vette that someone else took apart and I have not been around any vettes to look at to see if I am doing thing's right. (That said) I put the door glass and regulator in and when I rolled it up and down it (glass) tilts to the back and the front of glass dosen't go down all the way. When I put door post on the front of glass seems to fit even with top of door post. Is this the proper way glass operates and fits?

It's normal to see several inches of the top front corner of the window frame exposed above the edge of the door with the window rolled down.
