Today was a GREAT! day, we fired up the 270HP engine for the first time since last October. I hope to have body drop on Saturday.

WOW!!!! Looks beautiful!!! Good luck!!! That gives me incentive to do a body-off in the future.

Nice garage - noticed the bead blast cabinet, parts cleaner, and the 2 post lift.

Nice car too!

Hey 61 You've made great progress. I can see you have allot of the trim on the body already and even the headlights are installed. I guess you had a short startup on the motor as I noticed your radiator is not installed. Do you have the radiator support already mounted on the body? Have you test fit the hood? Good luck with the body drop. Watch you back end where the body drops over the rear crossmember... I remember this being a tight fit when I removed my body. Good luck, it looks great and I am very excited for you. I am still tweeking my body work a bit and should be ready for primer soon.

Ray,

Looking good! It won't be long now.

Hi! Sorry I haven't posted thanks for the kind compliments but I have been working very hard on the 1961. The body drop is complete.
