I recently found the "original" engine from Pilot line 1963 Corvette, vin number 100022. It is a fuel enjection engine, complete with original pistons, camshaft, oil pan, and front cover. No heads or intake. Very excellent condition, no ridge in cylinders.
The numbers are 3100022 F0618RF on the pad, Cast date is E102, so the block was cast Thursday May 10, 1962 and the engine assembled Monday, June 18, 1962.
