Notice there is a 1959 Registry. How do we go about do one for the 1963? Would love to see one for the 63 since its unique in its own right. Seems like you see less and less of the SWC every year. Is there enough interest here to get one going?

Hi Collin,

Thanks for noticing the '59 Registry- It's been alot of fun to get it running and watch it grow. It definitely keeps me busy though, just as a forewarning! :) Shoot me an email and I'd be glad to see how I could assist in getting things rolling for '63.

Regards,

Jim

believe there is a 63 registry someone contacted me through the ncrs about my car. If you want more info I could look around for contact information to get you in touch with him, let me know if your interested, sure seemed like a nice guy.

a lot of Midyear owners are part of this group. We have a seperate parking area at Carlisr also - I believe it's next to the NCRS area but I could be wrong about that location.
It doesn't cost anything to join either.

I think EBVette is looking for a '63 only registry though.

I belong to them too. I am look for a page on this forum like the 59 guys have so we 63 owners can get a grip on how many are actually out there (or close to it). I think it would be good to organize the 63's.

Re:

Gotcha EB, just wanted to clarify on your intentions- I'm sure we can come up with something :D

I'm very proud of how well-received the '59 Registry has been to date, and I continue to look every day for those that are still out there. I do have a feeling though that I've found at least 50% of the remainder. When I first started the site, I was finding cars left and right, and getting emails all of the time. But now, I'm up to 237 cars, and findings are getting slim.. I have about 30-40 that I know of currently that I can't get further info on, so it pretty much comes down to 2 things- the owners don't know how to use the web, or they just don't want to share their information. There will always be a percentage of that, so I'm not really disappointed about it. But, considering the cars I've found so far, I've been told that I've already surprised quite a few people on how many are still out there!

If you get a chance, you might want to send a msg to the '63-'67 Registry and advise them of your intentions, so they see it coming- If I found out there was another '59 Registry out there and they hadn't at least spoken with me first, I'd be pretty hot... :mad

What good is it to register for this site ? They take, take and take and won't share anything. So you get a good parking spot. Wow! :eyerole
I would want a site that shares different build dates, VINs, part/date codes for various items (just like Noland Adams did in his book). But mostly, showing how many cars are still left out there.
So what good does this site do for anyone? Just curious...

Re:

Coupe,

I kind of wondered that myself upon reviewing the site.. I thought maybe I was just overlooking the icon/link that allowed you to view all of the cars they had registered thus far. Glad it wasn't just me!
