I'm looking at buying a 65 vette but the bank wants an estimate before I can get a loan. Can anyone tell me where I can get an official estimate quote?

The 65 is in need of restoration so that has to be taken into account.

Thanks!!!

Dex.

You need an appraisal - check with the local car clubs and Corvette clubs to see who they use to do theirs; expect to pay $75-$150.:beer

Get a home equity loan and you don't have to worry about an estimate... Plus you can right the interest off of your taxes every year. On top of that Home equity loans are at about 4.5% APR which if I believe just as low as car loans... Dave..

When I had to get mine appriased, I took it down to the local Chevy dealer and they did it for free. In fact, they were kind enough to ask me what I wanted it estimated at so that the bank would loan me the full sale amount. Some banks will only finance 80% of what a used vehicle is worth.
