Hi, I have a 1966 corvette convertible. Where is the vin number located on the frame?

The VIN is under the drivers door pody panel and not visible without lifiting the body if not yet rusted away.

You should also find the number stamped into the drivers side frame kickup right in front/up to the middle of the rear wheel. This number is also on the top of the frame and not visible. you may have a chance to locate this one with a small mirror.

Thank you
Could anyone explain me what is a "mid year" model?

Alfor, welcome to the forum. Mid-year is relative to the style you own, from '63 - '67. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding, and it makes sense that 63-67 are the mid-years between '60 - '70, thus, the mid-years. :duh
