I'm looking at a 1970 C3 that has had the original 454ci engine (bored and stroked) to 496 cu. in. and designated as a "512" replacement block dated December 1, 1969. The #290 cylinder heads were port matched to the intake. The stroker kit includes a SCAT crank with 9.7:1 compression ratio forged pistons, Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam (gross lift of .510 and split duration of .282 & .288), ceramic coated Hedman Headers, N11 off road exhaust system, original intake manifold, alternator, starter, and belt system, and a Sean Murphy prepared 750 cfm Rochester carburetor. Thoughts and or concerns regaring the build would be appreciated, a bit to technical for me.
Thanks,
