I had purchased a 73 Convertible and needless to say, there were many parts missing. Not having one to view, it has been a fun and crazy ride to restore her.
The question I have is does anyone have a diagram, or can you tell me the how's and whys and where's that Door Lock Pillar Plastic Wedges go to and what their purpose is. A ZIP rep said he asked his tech guy and he said they are used 'as an "alignment tool" for the weatherstrip they work in conjunction with'
I came across them on ZIP's site while searching for something else and can safely say I don't have them on my car.

Any help would be appreciated as I am in the middle of completely rejuvenating the doors.

Thanks!

One half mounts on the upper portion of the rear door face, the other on the body panel. Helps keep the doors from sagging on the flexi-flyer C3 convertibles.

Thanks for the reply! I'll thumb through my 53-82 PDF Parts cataglog to see if I can find some diagram.
If someone as a pic from their convertible and would send it along, it would be greatly appreciated!
Again Mike, my thanks!
