I just repaired the air control valve located in the hood. Before I reassemble everything I thought I would check to ensure the solenoid is working correctly. The solenoid wasn't receiving any electricity so I thought I would check the circuit. The problem is that I can't find any wiring diagrams that show the solenoid. I'm not sure what takes place within the system for the air control valve to open so I don't when it would receive electricity or where it would come from. Can anybody help me? :confused

For all the information you need on the cowl induction system--parts, photos, etc. go to Tom73's www page. It is an unbelievable source of great information! Go to Technical Tips; Cowl Induction System.

Job done

Mikey and George,

Thanks for the tips. I went to Toms website and got all the information (and more) that I needed to finish the installation. Everything went well and she's up and running.

Thanks again, it's people like you that make this site so great!
