1975 Control Arm Shaft Finish?

I'm restoring my car to factory specs and need to know from someone that has an original car if the upper and lower control arm (A-Arm) shafts are painted or natural finish. The NCRS manual is specific about the finish on the Control Arm, bolts, and retainers but doesn't specify the shaft. Does anybody know for sure?

Don't know for sure. Mine are painted but they were redone by the previous owner.

C3's generally had "natural" shafts; on midyears, they were painted as an assembly with the control arm.
