I just pick up a 1977 and it needs a new dash pad, lower dash pads both left and right. I have been looking on E Bay they list the pads will fit 1968 to 1977 but when I klook in a catalog they show a different number for the 1977. Will all years fit the 77 or is it different? thanks

My GM parts catalogue lists 71-77 for the passenger's side and 74-77 with AC for the driver's side. If memory serves, the only difference between the AC and non-AC pads is the little knee vent on the lower right side.

The center cluster and console changed for '77. The cluster bezel is one year only for your car. Console trim plate might be the same as 78-82, but don't quote me on that.

My advice would be to purchase the 1977 assembly instruction manual (AIM). The AIM will list the original parts and their part numbers and will give you an idea of how the dash was assembled.

:)

Theres also a book that tells you which parts you can interchange from year to year.
