Question: 1978 Dash/Console, wood trim

Well hello members, Have any of you ever use wood trim pieces on your dash/console plate. It covers the old and damaged. It looks really nice when advertised

The trim kits have been available through the aftermarket providers for a while now. I've never purchased one.

There was one in my '81 when I bought it 10 years ago.
I didn't care for it.But that was me too.....
