1979 prototype

anyone know of this car?

told its one of three gm prototypes, to be pace car for 81 82

far as i can tell it is not a kit, panels are not bonded, seems to be all one

twin turbo, and aparently big block

The body isn't the same but if you scroll down you will see an article on the turbo prototype they built for that year.

The body kit does look like a Greenwood...but who installed it?

Hello..that's a Greenwood For sure. I have a 1979 Greenwood Daytona...The body kits can be a one pice body off or a seperate kit from Ecklers. Greenwood only built 43 original cars..and only 4 Daytona's. The large rear air inlets are to let air escape from the brakes and essentially cool the car. Check out www.greenwoodcorvettes.com.
