Hu Guys, how do you remove the side mirrors? Does the window have to come out? I see its two bolts but I cant he how to get at them. The windows are currently down in the doors now.

Thanks
Mike

Yes, my Canadian friend, the window comes out. It's a whole lot of fun too! If you want to take the mirror completely out, you also have to remove the upper hinge access cover, as the cables go from the mirror to the hinge opening and back to the middle of the door - not sure about electric mirrors. Have at it!

Mike, it is very tight where the mirrors are mounted. I used a thin offset box wrench to unbolt them. It is slow going because you can only turn a little at a time. The windows have to be all the way down and the door panel removed. I suggest you put something on the doors to protect the paint under the mirror when it hangs down after removal. Installation is also very difficult, especially getting the bolts started.
