A few months back Dave sent me some great diagrams for the vacuum lines on the temp control. I've installed it but have a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. Here's the problem:

1. When I turn the air conditioner on to either max or normal the air only comes out the defrost.
2. When I move control to heater, air comes out of the heater vents.
3. When I move the control to vent air only comes out the defroster.
4. When I move the control to defroster air only comes out the dash vents.

I think the vacuum lines on the back of the temp control must be mixed up as all settings let air come out, just not in the right spots. I'm not sure which colored striped hose goes to each of the ports on the back of the controller. I have hoses with blue, green, black and tan stripes on them. Does anyone know which order they go in starting at the top and moving clockwise? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure with all of the brain power in this forum someone has had this issue before and the advice is always top shelf.

Thanks
Terry

Terry , click on the the pix or link and you should be able to enlarge the pix. Pretty much shows where the Color stripes go. Dave :beer

Dave, Thanks again. I found this picture in my repair manual and actually just fixed it yesterday. Now if I could only get cold air. :-)

I know I can always count on you guys.

Terry, Is the clutch on the front of your Air Compressor coming on when you put the A/C on ?? Dave :w

I used this from the Dr. Rebuild site. I dolled it up a little with the correct color markings on the hoses.

Dave, It wasn't coming on but I found a loose connection and now it's working fine. Getting 60 degrees at the vent and car not moving so should even be a little colder once I get some hair flowing while driving.

Thanks for all you help.
