What are proper brake parts to update and keep them from draining during winter cold and storage?

Draining? I guess it would be possible for a mouse to chew a hole thru the bottom hose and drain 1/2 of the coolant out but I can't imagine anything else draining.

I've never had a problem with my brake fluid draining....??
perhaps your one or more of your seals are going bad on the calipers....

With the lip seals some places recommend depressing the brake pedal a few times every week or two to prevent leaks. I don't believe it makes a difference though.
