Hello
On my 1982 collector with power locks, I am trying to get the alarm system working.
I find out that on the door locks,(where you put the key in) on the inside which is held in place by sliding
in a U shaped snap to hold it in place.
there is a anti-tamper switch which pushes against the lock tumbler. It is part of the locking clip that I just
explained. On both doors I can't get it pushed in far enough to get the switch to operate and open
the contact. Does anybody know what could be wrong. Is there some way to adjust it or is it just not
pushed in far enough. The locks work fine, and they are tight.
Thanks, Jim
