1984 Option Tag Location

Can anyone tell me where I may find the tag on my car that lists the option codes the car has? Thanks for all help.

The sticker is inside the driver's side stow bin in the luggage compartment.

What do you have to do to get to that build sheet?

I have the RPO decal, but it'd be neat to find the build sheet.

I ended up ordering a Window sticker and build sheet from the National Corvette museum. Just give them your VIN number and your all set. Kinda pricey though.

What a feeling when your car matches everything on the sheets!

Those documents from the museum may be a little pricey but the money goes to help sustain the museum . Hey silver 84 , ever eat at Dillengers ? Any good ? Cliff

The tag wasn't in either stow bin. I even took the trays out. can they be anyplace else?

My optioms code sticker is in the stow box beside the box that comes out. In other words as soon as you open the lid to the stow box, you can see it.

Sounds like yours may be missing! Bummer!

There should be a copy under the fuel tank thats free

There is supposedly a secret one too.......see our site under archive/buildsheets

BTW, missing parts tags are common....our original owner NEVER had one......... so either GM didnt put one on or the dealer removed it.

Sticker Build / Option Sheet

Hey Mo,

These guys are right on, it is directly behind the drives seat, afixed to the inside of storge compartment.

I called GM to find out, they also told me to look on the engine firewall compartment, it is supposed to be tagged there as well.

I have all of the 1984 build / options list if you need them.

Let me know?

I will hafta look at the firewall and see if there is one there. the one in the compartment is gone for sure. I will figure out what options it has somehow. I may try ordering the window sticker for it. Thanks for all the help
