Neighbor lady down the street has what I believe is an 84. If it helps, it's a two tone light over dark. Local used car lot is selling some stuff for her, a boat and other things. Said he looked at the Vette for her and when he removed the cover, wow!. Pack rats had gutted the inside!! Seats, liner all gone!! I would immagine the same is true under the clam. He thinks she might want to get rid of it. Has some sentimental value due to late husband. If anyone is interested, I'll try to contact her and maybe get some pic's. I think it would be a great project car. Let me know if you want me to look further.
