1985 Door problems at the outer seal

Hello,

I am in the process off repainting my 1985 corvette and while dismantling the drivers door i removed the outer seal. what I found was not good.
The top part where the seal attaches is all rusted out.;help
What Im wondering is it possible to buy this part of the door or should I just change the door instead of all the hasle to refit it?
