well thats is bad news not that i dont like the car i think it is a great car
but i don't like the price:L

;shrug When was the last time you saw a 1988+ B2K for that price?

Factor the euro to $$$ exchange rate, and the price would be even better. Wow... ;squint:

One of the cheapest I've seen in a long time. If this price is to high for you, a Callaway Corvette isn't a car for you. Like Chris says with the current $ > euro exchange this one is almost for nothing!

I agree, you seldom find one in this low price range. I don't think it would be on the market for too long.

I agree with the price. It is very hard to find an 88 or newer for less than 20k. It also has Dymags, a nice extra at that price. I wish I had some extra money laying around-It would be mine.:D Good luck on the sale.

If anyone is seriously interested in this car, I'd be happy to run down and check it out for you (not a full PPI, just another set of eyes). Your only risk is that I may talk Steve out of selling it! :L

the last bargains I can recall were both gone to Texas.

1987 yellow conv with aerobody ;)
1988 silver B2k

can you dig them ?
I heard rumors that these Texans are hungry for more :w

back ontopic :

Steve, Did you manage to make those pictures this weekend ?

Coincidentaly I lowered the selling price of my 1986 Coupe last Friday ;)

could this be the OMEN ?

all It would need is the aerobody that Tony bought on ebay recently :cool

12,887 Euro is quite a deal! That's like buying this car for 12,887 US dollars back in 2001! :thumb

It looks like a steal deal for the Dutch but when bought then comes trouble.

total shipping costs about 3000 euro
import taxes about 2500 euro
VAT about 2250 euro
BPM = some stupid tax we need to pay for cars 2000 euro
licence and registration costs about 1000 euro

total about 10.000 euro before you can finally drive the car overhere.
which brings the story back to the begin.
Our only luck is that USD conversion is cheap :cool

I do not know how it is for the other European countries but I think at this moment it is the best living in Germany, cause they still appreciate cars and their manufacturers without squeezing them out.

(cheaper gasoline , no roadtax , some parts autobahn no speed limits :cool )

sorry Steve for the off-topic, but consider it a free bump.

Maybe he just meant he doesn't like the price because $20k for a set of dymags (with a lot of "extras" ;) ) is steep. Or maybe just because he doesn't have that kind of money to spend on a car. It didn't seem like slam on the price of the car to me. Looks like a nice price for a fun 'vert.

i am in seattle and would be interested in buying the car. give me a call if you have a chance. chris 1 206 417 5825 h or 1 206 715 9060c
