Question: 1989 , air bag or no air bag ?

Have an 89 and not positive I have an air bag. If my car came with one, how can I make sure there's still one in there.

The 89 had no air bags. 90 was the first year for a driver side air bag.
That bulge on the passenger side where a glove box would normally be is called the bread loaf, bread box
:L but is not an air bag. They used to sell a kit that replaced the bread box and made it into a glove box.
