'63split

Hello,

I'm selling my '89 convertible to make room for a '63 coupe I recently bought. I've owned the '89 for 6 years and have put 15,000 miles on it for a total of 104,257. It is dark blue, white top and black interior. I put new mufflers on it this past summer and the tires are about 75%. I upgraded the stereo to CD player in place of original cassette. I have the original cassette stereo too. The car is in very good shape and I'm asking $10,000 OBO.

Thanks,
Mike

6 spd or automatic?
Factory hardtop?
Luggage rack?
Leather?
Is top the original color?

Thanks :beer

It is an automatic, leather interior and I don't know for certain if top color is factory buy I assume it is since the guy I bought it from was meticulous about it being stock original. I could have had a white hard top for $900.00 but past it up since I would probably never use it and the guy selling it admitted that that was the reason he was selling it because he never used it. It does not have a luggage rack. We manage to put 2 soft luggage pieces in the rear compartment. I also have a cover which goes with the car and a folder with it's maintainance history and extra set of original keys with the reorder code number. The car has been well maintained all it's life and has spent it's entire existance in a garage. As I mentioned in my previous post I have to sell it to make room for a 63 split I recently purchased which is being stored at a friends garage until I sell the '89.

Thanks,
Mike

Where do you live?

Do you own a convertible? There's nothing like a convertible, in good weather of course. The wife and I take drives to the local snowball stand in the summer with the top down. Heaven on earth!

I like the fact that we can load her up and take her on long cruises with the top down and not having to hassle with shifting up and down. That's why I have my '63 with a 4-spd. It is my around town cruiser but for the open road it's an automatic with the overdrive. Sweet!!

I am in VA. The 93 I have is a 6 speed convertible however, I am VERY partial to the 1989's

I too enjoy the strong heaters these cars have as I just went on a Corvette Cruise past the Nations Capitol w/ 10 Vettes a week ago :upthumbs (top down, 90 deg. blowing out the vents;) )

Good luck on the sale of the car, sounds like a nice one :beer

I took the '89 to a friends gas stations parking lot today, put a for sale sign in the window in the hopes I'll find a buyer. It's not the best time of year to sell a car but I only need 1 buyer.
I purchased a '63 split window and I'm working on it at another friends garage and will be ready to bring it home in about a month. So you see I have to sell the "89 now to make room for the '63.

Have a Happy New Year!
