Hello again,

In the mid 90's I owned a 1989 Medium blue Corvette Coupe. It had black cloth interior and almost no options. It had manual seats, manual air and just the solid top. I was told this car was ordered on purpose this way. It was modified by Auto Performace Test Lab in Atlanta, GA. My car was featured in the January 1992 Vette Vues magazine. The car had ported heads with roller rockers, ported intake with larger runners and it was painted black like on Callaways. It also had a y-pipe with a hollowed out converter and flowmaster mufflers. This car was LOUD and it ran great with 3.73 gears.

My question is does anyone have any info on this car. I have seen it driving around Alpharetta, GA a few years back but couldn't catch him. Just curious what happend to this car. Any info would be great. Thanks again.

If you still have the VIN, may be able to order a body file from your State Department of Motor Vehicles. This will give you all the information on the vehicle from the time it was 1st registered in the state until present.

Stan Adelman used to run that company and had a Callaway Twin Turbo which he called an SE. It was a dark red 1988 convertible.

He used to be in the Callaway Forum many years ago and may still lurk. I have not heard from in a few years...

You also might ask in the Callaway Forum here at the :CAC how to get a hold of David Fulcher. He was aligned with Stan and helped bult the aforementioned Callaway SE car and may still be around in GA.

I hope this helps.

I know Stan....it was he who first owned and built my blue car. I haven't seen him in many years. His 88 Callaway was first owned by a good friends dad. It was pretty fast....they were always messing with it and trying to get more power out of it. Do you know where that car is? I used to see it at Tom Jumper Chevrolet from time to time.
