I saw this car on e-bay and then again on the net - it is NOT A B2K however, it looks to have a complete Aerobody (w/ cowl hood)

Here is the link -

Last pics I saw of this car, it was up on jackstands outside a garage in that area - Never got the whole story on it.

This looks like a fun Summertime driver :m

The link within your link says not found.... that looks like a pretty good deal, and it is YELLOW! I am looking for a yellow 'vert, callaway would be a huge plus!

Callaway Vert Indpls

I was the one that sent the pic to you of it on jackstands. I couldnt beleive it when I saw it. It was on Jackstands outside a Zeibart shop off of a busy street. It was there for over two weeks. This was over a year ago. I stopped in and supposebly it was the managers girlfriends dads car(if my memory serves me right). The reason it was there was it supposebly had a bent rim(callaway dymags I suppose I dont know) and of all places Zeibart was trying to refurbish or replace It ?We all know how hard dymags are to get a hold of. Well...The story doesnt end there. Apx three months after that. I saw the car on the side of 65south just north of the southport exit. We had just had a major rainstorm and the car appeared to had been in a accident. It had some front end damage. I stopped but no one was around so I left. This car is rough. Even before its little accident. I wouldnt give $5000.00 for it. Thats because I know its the same car. If anyone is interested I can go see the car and send pics. It would be interesting to know just how the car ended up.

Those wheels are hideous. The only reason Id want that car would be to get the Aero off it.

yeah I was thinking the same thing. That car is bad shape.

WTH happened to teh front of it.

Yeah, I remember the pics :) I had wondered what ever happened to the car - guess it turned out to be the Callaway Aerobody on a 1990 chassis...
In the front end pic, the lenses look a bit light - almost transparent:confused maybe it is just the pic??
The car shows to be at a Vette broker now and avail. for purchase - that is a bit more than a 91 (NON-B2K) Vert went for last year.

Maybe if it is closeby, you can check it out again??

Pet Sn8K, Welcome to the :CAC

Post sometime about the Callaway - If I recall, it was one of the two Automatics from 87 :m

Aerobody Vert for 15,500

Yep thats me. I still wander around the vette forums and vette scene reading up on anything Callaway. I miss my old car. I'll get another one though I'm sure. As soon as I get more garage space.

pet sn8k - Welcome to the CAC. I haven't seen to many other people on here from Indiana. I live about an hour East of you near Richmond.

1990 Aerobody

Yep thats it. I was looking for the pics yesterday so I could post it. Funny that you still have it. The sad truth is the car looked really bad when I saw it on 65south(wrecked). Too bad but I'm sure someone could refurbish it and make it look like its suppose too. Just needs a good friend.

Hey reubenmc. I Live on the southside of Indy. I dont head east too often but glad to see someone from Indy also. I go to some corvette functions around here but I always leave the snake at home(my car is in the background of the first pic posted) but I'm always out cruising. My car gets driven. About 8k a year. Wish I could drive it more just cleaning it I hate. LOL See ya

That's too bad :( 15k is a lot of $$ for a car "In Need"
I bet it still turns heads though - Yellow paint and the aerobody is a tough combo to beat :cool

I'm surprised the Aerobody stayed on the car with it being on jackstands.

I know I would be tempted to get the nose, gills and bumper.
