what would be a decent nitrous setup for a 1990 corvette im stock right now by the way.

Was also wondering which would be the easier route to go about this. I had a previous post about adding headers exhaust ect... Would it be best to add some bolt on before i do a 100 shot of nitrous or should i add the nitrous first?

thanks

also if u could guide me with some links to that would be really helpful.

Nitrous will give you most bang for the buck but you have to be sure it is setup properly to run safely (ie: to minimise the chances of hurting your car). IMO, you should run a fuel pressure saftey switch (hobbs switch?) in the system (so that if your fuel pressure drops below a certain value it shuts off the N20 flow to minimise the chance of a leanout that could cause engine damage). It is also a little "safer" to run the N20 with a throttle switch so you only get N20 flow under wide open throttle.

With N20 you have to be certain you always have a good fuel supply with good fuel pressure and your engine is in good tune.

Some say 100hp is the safe limit for a stock bottom end L98, others say 150hp...

Different companies offer you bolt on kits for L98's - some companies jet their kits rich, others lean - I'll leave clarifying that to someone with firsthand experience to answer.

Bolt ons like headers, exhaust, etc are probably "safer" but cost more and will give you less of a hp increase for your money.

Aside from the $, I guess it depends on how often you plan to use the hp increase you are after and what your long term plans for your car are (ie: will you want more power later on).
