Congratulations!
Like the story to, very nice.
I think having a good time with this roadmonster is no problemo, so good luck.

Welcome to Callaway ownership!!!!!!!!! I am sure, by the time the test drive was over. you were well aware of the awesome power(s) this special car holds :)

Again - congrats & welcome :v

CONGRATS!!!!!!

Good Luck on your Purchase Welcome aboard! Just a note the lenses are pricey over $300 for one and if it a colored one they are not available anymore. We have a solution though. You can dye a clear lense and make it amber. FYI . Good Luck and lots of fun with the car and now you are expected to come to Carlilse for the Largest Gathering of Callaways in the world and join the rest of us for a GREAT TIME.

Callaway4Fun,

Talked to Ted Rice at Callaway regarding the driving light lense. He indicated that they were out of stock at the moment, but the technician would be making some "when he got time".

I'm on the waiting list and will be contacted when the part is available.

Please tell me that this is an unusual situation. Does Callaway wait until there is an order for a part before making one???

Depends on the part - Many parts are "stocked" at the shop however, the lenses are a per part item and would be made in a batch.

The last part I asked for happened to be made for every model Supernatural but mine... I asked Ted, and in less than 2 months, they are now stocked :D - I will be ordering one + a spare :)

I bought the last amber lens back in 2001 - the lens can be "dyed" amber and in person, you would never know the difference

Remember, these a limited production vehicles so it may take time on some items - Callaway Cars has pledged to stand behind us owners in the future :m

I think there may be some confusion between the driving light lens and the turn signal lens. All the driving light lenses are clear plastic. The turn signals on the original TT Aerobody cars up through '91 are amber and at some point they stopped making those and started making clear. I guess it was around the time the Super Natural program started?

For some reason we can't seem to convince Callaway to put a piece of amber plastic in the turn signal lense mold. Why? I don't know. (We know the mold exists and we know how they make them... we saw it.) It is true that if you can get them to make you a clear one it can be died perfectly with amber spray paint for stained glass. I want to say it was Krylon brand?

Kevin - Yeah, I had typed amber lens for the turn but it does look like he needs a clear lens for the driving light (just for a reference to out of stock part;) ) - I am surprised they don't stock those as rocks & debris would ding many I am sure :(
-After all, we did have our hands on the molds for them ;)
