1992 Coupe
I bought a 1992 Coupe last summer and had to replace the ECM 3 months later. I was told by the Corvette shop that this is a common problem. Is that true?

They also told me not to let the original ECM go back as a core. Because it was the orginal Delco, he told me to find someone who would rebuild it and give the same one back to me instead of swapping them which seems to be the norm. Does anyone know where I can get this unit rebuilt and be able to make sure I can get the same one back? Thanks.

Try sending this guy an e-mail and explain what you want. I bought a rebuilt PCM from him last fall for my Dodge truck and it works perfectly. At that time I asked him if he could rebuild Vette ECM's because the ones for 92 & 93 cars are scarce and he indicated he could, think his name was Louis, good luck.
