My 1993 automatic hot idle speed is about 500-600 rpms and is a little rough. Smooths right out above that speed and runs well throughout the speed range.
It also smooths out with the A/C on as the idle kicks up to about 900 rpm.
Do I have a problem or is this normal? This has been my 1st summer with the car and it has been consistent since the spring when it came out of winter storage.
Car has about 48K on it and is in very good shape. I've had nothing apart. I did run a 1/2 a can of Sea Foam through the intake via one of the manifold vacuum fittings and the rest of the can in 1/2 tank of fuel, but it made no noticable difference (except for the smoke during the treatment
