it says its a 1994 400 Supernatural upgraded to a 435 Supernatural in 1996. First off, this car is not a twin turbo correct? secondly, what is done to make it a Supernatural? is the 400 and 435 the hp of the engine?

please enlighten me.

Slashnick, the Supernatural series (400, 425, 435, 450, 475, 490 cars) all refer to the horsepower level of each. The cars that were Twin Turbos carried RPO B2K and were produced between 1987 - 1991. The Supernatural series was produced between 92-96 on the c4 chassis and achieves its power through the increase in displacement (on the LT1 based cars) to a 383 stroker.

Very durable - in fact, I enjoy driving mine as the look is the same as my B2K but w/ out turbo's to keep in mind... I will say, the twin turbo is brutally quicker but the SNAT is no slouch - just a *different* kind of power ;)
Hope this helps :m

thanks

yeh that is exactly what i wanted to know.

the ad on that car says it has 0 miles (definatly an error since the tread on the tires is 75% and the leather on the shifter is worn) and it also says its a 350 (should be 383ci as you say.)

what do these cars usually go for? so far its only $16k, but with 4 days left im sure that will go way up.

This may sound a little stupid but I was wondering what do you mean by "brutally quicker"? Is the SNAT smoother that the B2K or is the B2K so much quicker that you use are just useing a discriptive word like "brutal".

Although they are both VERY powerful cars, the Twin Turbo is one of the few cars that once hammered, hold you so far back into your seat, you are gasping for air:crazy

The Supernatural, although in the same category for acceleration is totally different in its delivery:Steer

Now the center exit SNAT exhaust - That's hands down, the best sound ever from a motor :D

I think I understand. Saturday, I had my first experiance in a turbo charged car. Although it wasn't a B2K Corvette, it was a 400+hp '87 Grand National. I was a wierd feeling when my buddy would stomp it and we take off and for a split second you are accelerating then the turbo spools up and the rear wheels break lose! He said with the racing tires on it, it pulls your lips back and makes you smile whether you want to or not.

Yea, Turbo's do give a nice kick. The instantaneous accelertion "feels" better in a turbo or supercharged motor as opposed to a N/A car. My neighbor has an early '90's Porsche 911 Turbo which has a helluva kick, but my '95 can still take it in the 1/4 and highway. My '03 Lightning has a nice, but less noticeable punch with it's supercharger......I've only had the chance to run against one Callaway TT in the 1/4 mile - an '88 @ Englishtown. It was a hot, humid summer day - I ran a 12.6 @ 113 to the stock TT's time of 13.5 @ 106. That was the first and only time I had the opportunity to run another Callaway on the strip. Turbo spooling is nice!
