Hi All,

My Vette just started showing the "Service Engine" light on a long drive I took. I just used the 4-12 jumper for the codes, but can't make heads or tails of what they mean. I was used to the old 12-12-12 ses blinking sequences and even after looking around the site can't figure out what these new ones mean.
They are:
1: H31, H32, H33, H34, H35, H36, H37, H38
4: H63, H64

All the rest are clear.
Does anyone have a list of the code meanings for a 1994?

Thanks in advance,

Rick

Thanks Rabbit, but I've already checked them out before. They seem to be for the older Vette's. None of them have an "H" in front of them and there is no code 31 at all.

The "H" in front of the code stands for "history" and you'll see that if the fault is not present when you read the codes but were present sometime in the last 49 key-up cycles.

If you were getting those codes witht he engine off, then the codes were not current.

Module 1 codes
Those are all faults with the IP's LCD. You will need both the factory service manual and a DMM or DVM to service any of them. Also, you're looking at pulling the cluster to fix them in most cases.

Module 4 codes
63 is a fault in the Bank 2 O2S header.
64 is a fault in the Bank 3 O2S with lean exhaust.

In both cases, the problem may be the sensor or it may be in the sensor circuitry.

First thing I'd do is clear codes and road test then reread the codes to see what resets.
