After owning my 96 for a year and a half, l came to the conclusion that it is so different then all other C4's even the 95.
When l order some parts l find that the 96 is in a column by itself except for anything visual.
Once you go under the skin the changes really surface. When l selected the 96 l knew it was a little different but thought it was just a couple of items just to justify the different years.
What makes me crazy is that l bought daytime running lights where l have to find a hot wire near the front drivers side and knowing the proper color code
cannot find the right wire to splice into. I even picked up a device that allows me to test a wire to see if it's hot to no avail, but l'm sure it's my fault.
The wires in the 96 are different by the front fan relays because a 95 owner told me what to look for and it wasn't there.
