1996 rotor removal

Hey there i have bought a set of brembo rotors but i CANNOT get the rotors of the front spindals,..there are NO rivets holding it on and i have tried to "beat" them off the spindals with no luck,..Please pass on some info if you have done this mod and what i need to do,..also i do not see a "lip" either,....thanks

:confused After releasing the calipers the rotors should just pull off. I just replaced my Baer Eradispeed 2 piece rotors with a new set without any problems. The rotors just slid off very easily.

Spindle removal

Occasionally the spindle (or the rotor) will corrode a lot and they won't separate. Get a paper towel (to catch drips) and some CRC rust remover (or whatever they callit). Spray the CRC on the interface (a circle about 3" dia) and catch any run-down with the paper towel. Wait 'til it soaks in good and spray again, and again, wiping up the drips before they reach the braking surface. Wiggle the rotor and try to work it off of the spindle. Spray and wipe some more if needed. Once it comes loose, make sure none of the rust remover gets on the braking surface.
Some cars do it. Most don't.

Got a small sledge (like 2.5 lb) Give the rotor a few sharp raps on the edge - spinning it. Hit in the vertical plane, not trying to "drive it off the spindle".
