Question: 1998 Pace car

Is the color of the 98 pace car (replica) radar blue metallic or radar purple metallic I have seen both used in CAC to describe the color. which one is the correct one?

The Corvette Black Book says it's Pace Car Purple and there were 1,163 that color.

As JR mentioned, it's referred to as Pace Car Purple in Mike Antonik's Corvette Black Book. It's also referred to as Radar Blue in Press Releases:

And it appears as Radar Blue Metallic on the '98 Paint Code list:

So it seems any of these names would be considered correct.

Agreed! There's one for sale here in Colorado Springs. 119 original miles. Still has the original factory wrapping on. When the guy who owns the Corvette Center here took the car it had 78 original miles....he said that he couldn't help himself.
