My 1998 waterpump started leaking today(60,000 miles) and I would like the advice of someone that has replaced waterpump and or thermostat. How hard of a job is it and where is the best place to buy the parts? What is the recommendation about lowering the thermostat temperature to 175 deg? Does it help the engine performance?
