Only one other person has suggested that.

He was sentanced to death.
 
The only good thing about E85 is the high octane rating (i've heard 110 from one source, but i can't remember). So it can be used in high compression applications. But you won't get nearly as much gas mileage.

Personally, i'm against E85, but that's just me.

So is my wife! The price of corn has doubled in the last ten months, and prices are rising rapidly on every other product that uses corn as a base, due to the diversion of lots of corn from consumer products to ethanol production. :eyerole

Another bit of fallout is that farmers are switching to corn from other crops due to the subsidies. This has driven up the cost of malted barley considerably. The only thing worse than Alumibeer is expensive Alumibeer :chuckle
