2 Qt Extra Alum Pan For Th400

Just bought one of these cast alum pans from TCI. A real good looking substancial piece of work. Holds 2 xtra qts of fluid and is finned on the bottom. Should help cooling. Does anyone else have one on. It's 3 3/4" deep. Wondering about ground clearance. It's probably below the crossmember. Boy I'd hate to hit a raised manhole cover

I thought about that, but I worried about the ground clearance, as well. I opted for an external transmission filter (looks like an external oil filter) which gives and extra quart, and an external cooler which, with all the extra line, probably adds up to at least another quart.

Well, in the process of doing

I'm really going to burn the midnight oil on this thing for the next couple weeks, 'cause I need to get it to the body shop, the third week in September. Getting down to the wire...
