I just stopped in a local speed shop with my 87 coupe to look at some rims I am thinking about buying and there's this georgous pewter coupe that pulls in next to me. So we chat a bit and he says he's selling it. He gives me sheet of all the goodies. There are too many to list. Anyway he needs money. had it listed for $34k. So being curious I ask his bottom line. he tells me $28k.

Here's a rap sheet just for the engine:
2004 engine with comp cams
comp 5/16 mo;;y pushrods
Harland sharp pro roller rockers
comp 918 springs & titanium retainers
Ls6 intake
ported and polished throttle body
The car has over $60k invested
he gave me a 2 page list of stuff. He is emailing pics to a local forum I am on so I'll try to post it when he does. He left his # 727-422-0076 if you're interested.

did he say why he pulled the 2000 LS1 in the first place?

How many miles on the car? Original wheels and tires(any life left in the tires)?

Any warranty left on the engine work?
Do you need a beefy engine? (I ask because there are lots of 2000 Coupes out there for sale with low to medium miles on em, in very good condition, for the low and mid 20k$ range)

Thanks for keeping us posted

I really didn't get too far into it. Just as another vette owner admiring a car we started to chat. On the 2 pages of goodies there are tons of stuff. I did take a look at the tires and they are practically new. The engine swap? don't know. He did say he was selling it to fund another project car he has now. From what I took from the guy, he buys cars and builds them up, drives them a while, and sells them. Must be nice. I got the list if you want me to fax it to you just to take a peek what this guy has into the car. It's a bit insane!
