2000 driver seat wear

The driver seat has a metal rod that is right at the leather of the seat on the left side of the seat that bumps and wears the material out. the passenger side has the same rod but there is padding on that side of the seat is the seat frame bad? (3 months left on warranty)

Hi there,
I would take it in for service, as there is a worn cushion under the leather seating surface.
This has pushed through the side bolster.
Have your local dealership check it out.
