The mirror/ light assembly located in both of my sun visors has become dislodged. If the visor is lowered to shade the sunlight, the assembly falls from the visor and is suspended only by the wiring. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I cannot see how they are attached to the visor.Thanks.

They should be a interference fit. In english they are made if plastic and are a force fit. Are you the original owner of the car? If you are I am not sure what caused the problem. If you are not the original owner someone might have had the visors rebuilt. Mine did not last all that long. If they have had them rebuilt the rebuilder could have done who knows what?

The fix would be to glue them back in. I would use super glue, but you have to get right the first time. That said any glue compatible with plastics should work. Even RTV if you have the time for it to cure.

I hope this helps.:pat

I have the same problem. Is there an aftermarket product out there that can be
purchased to replace the entire visor? The "ears" on both of mine have also ripped
away from the main visor inside, and I would just like to replace both of them.

I think I have seen factory replacements. They are not cheap and the ears will break again. I had mine rebuilt with out the movable ears since they broke first. Take them to an upholstery shop the will look original and cost about $75.00 each California $$$$$'s. :pat

Thanks Frank, Is there a trick to remove the visors from the bracket?

The brackets go with the visors as part of the rebuild. You might have to remove windshield interior moldings to disconnect the power for the vanity mirrors so the bracket can be removed from the car. The upholstery shops will do that for you.
