2001 corvette radio

My original radio's CD is acting up. It will play a few tracks then an ERROR shows and the CD is ejected. I have tried many CDs and the same results. The CDs do play in other CD players so it is not the CDs.
I'm thinking about replacing the radio because of this problem and there is no way to plug your media players into it. If anyone has replaced their radios I would like to hear what you replaced it with. I'm open for suggestions.

There is away to use media players with the OEM radio using the aux input. It is an aftermarket part and can be difficult to install, I know as I do have one. A new dash stereo would be a cleaner install, but be aware that when a thief see's one in a vehicle it is instant cash to them. Good luck with it, there are a lot of nice aftermarket units out there.
