My neighbor has an 01 LS6 in his garage and wanted to find out the rocker arm ratio for it.

Does anybody know?

He bought the engine and is thinking about putting it in his 79' Corvette after going with a carb. He's a big hotrodder, the LS6 is the weakest engine he has in his garage.:D

HI there,
Stock is 1.7 to 1.
There has not been any firm documentation that just changing rockers increases any power.
It usually is joined with a cam and heads for optimum power upgrades.
1.75 or 1.8 is what is usually chosen.

They wouldn't happen to be roller rockers would they?
