Here are the codes:
---------------------
10 -pcm P0650 which is MIL Control Circuit
AO LDCM "No Comm"
A1 RDCM "No Comm"
99 HVAC 01160 HC

So guys what is going on here and how to I fix these issues :)

Right now the issues I can see are that both doors locks, windows, and key fobes do not work.

thanks :)

Let’s start with the basic. How old is the battery. Last time I saw problem with door control module it was battery. MIL could be a blown check engine light. I do not find the HVAC code.

Check for good connection a battery post and acid trace under the battery. But hopefully this is just the battery going bad.

here is the manual information for the P0650

Isn't the HVAC a history code?, present at one time but not now.....and no power to either door module. Sounds like some wires need to be chased after the battery is checked.

Hey guys

Battery is brand new as I though this was the issue as well. It is steady at 14.4 when car is running and 12.5 volts on the volt meter out of the car.

I do not have any service manuals

There's something common to both Door Control Modules causing the "No Communication" fault.....neither module has power or no ground, possibly shorted or bad.
Not sure what it is.....I'll keep digging....hopefully someone more experienced will chime in....

thanks very much. Its appreciated ! I just finished my Vortech install and am trying to think if there is anything I may have bump or something. I can't think of anything though.

Car runs fine except for the power door options. Alternator is at 14.4 and battery tests at 12.4 out of the car.

From what I can see on my 97 books, there is no obvious circuit in common. They have their own fuses and grounds. LDCM has fuse 33 and 34 and the ground is G201. RDCM uses fuse 30 and 31 and ground G202. Both got the power from power distribution cell 10 as the seats. Are the seats working?

You could also check the serial data line. You will see two small flat beige connectors just at the left of the BCM. But if the serial data line would be bad, all computers would have no comm. You can disconnect and see if they are clean.

thanks for the help ! Both fuses all 4 fuses look good. Power seat works. I have a guy comming over thursday with a chev scanning tool from the dealership. Hopefully we can figure this out. You guys are great !!! I will post updates tonight after I flash the CPU :)

The "C" in this code means that it is curent, rather than historical. I get the intermittant history codes and don't worry about them much. But the current code suggests a problem that is not going to correct itself. I do not have my books here at work, so maybe someone else can tell you what DTC 1160 means.

Hey Guys

I re-flashed the computer to stock and everything still exists. So I flashed it back to the modifed superchips version.

Hopefully I will have more answers tomorrow when I have the chev scan tool.

have a good evening !
