Hi there,
The exhaust jingle that so many people have talked about is finally in bulletin form and was released for public usage on 06.15.04.
04-06-05-006 is the number.
Parts are in limited supply in SPO, so expect some delays at first.

I have Borlas and I still get the exhaust "gurgle" when I let off the gas and coast. C4C5, are you saying that this is not normal?

The gurgle/jingle is normal. However, the sound is coming from the "H" pipe. If you only change the mufflers, or cat back as it is termed, the jingle will still be there. It is just harder to hear with louder, Borla, exhaust systems. Even with louder mufflers it is especially noticable when you shut the engine down. Other than the bulletin that C4C5 mentioned, the only way that I know of to cure the sound is by replacing the "H" pipe with an "X" pipe. How do I know this? Because I installed Stingers and the sound was still there. Replaced the "H" with an "X" and "WHA LA", no more jingle.

What are the parts that will be replaced? I have an 03 C5 roadster,with a Z06 Ti catback already installed. I have the 2 cat H-pipe sitting in the shop, awaiting install. What can I expect for noise?

My Z06, "Ole Balls 39" has the jingle and, you know....while I'm aware of the TSB, I'm going to leave it. I kinda like that little jingle when I lift off the gas.
