I am attempting to replace the side panel on the driver side seat and can not get the seat back adjustment lever off. Do I have to remove the seat cushion and if so how do I do this.

If you're talking about the back tilt lever, it's got a circlip that holds it in place.

Once you remove the circlip it comes right off.

The service manual tells you how to go about removing it.
